BT Sport pundit: Arsenal star Mesut Ozil should feel embarrassed
BT Sport pundit Eidur Gudjohnsen gives his verdict on Mesut Ozil's performance in Arsenal's 4-1 loss to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final

Eidur Gudjohnsen says Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil should feel “embarrassed” after his display in Wednesday’s 4-1 loss to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery named the former Germany international in his starting XI for their Uefa showpiece against Chelsea FC in Baku.
However, Ozil failed to get a stranglehold on the all-Premier League encounter as Chelsea FC ran out comfortable winners to secure their first piece of silverware under Maurizio Sarri.
Goals from Olivier Giroud, Pedro Rodriguez and Eden Hazard sealed a comfortable win for the west London outfit.
Emery opted to replace Ozil for Alex Iwobi in the second half but the German playmaker showed no urgency as he left the field.
And former Chelsea FC striker Gudjohnsen was astounded by Ozil’s nonchalant attitude as the Arsenal playmaker was substituted.
“The one thing is you tell me if you’re the manager of Arsenal… you’re 4-1 down in the final you take Ozil off and he’s walking at the slowest pace like he’s waiting for a standing ovation,” Gudjohnsen told BT Sport.
“I’m sorry if that’s me i’d feel embarrassed, head down and I sprint off the pitch. He’s a wonderful player, tremendous quality but as a manager I could never watch that in my team.”
Arsenal finished Emery’s first season in charge without a trophy despite making some notable progress under the Spanish head coach.
The Gunners finished in fifth place in the Premier League table to miss out on a Champions League qualification spot.
Ozil’s future remains a source of debate despite the German’s insistence that he wants to see out his contract at the north London side.
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04.
