Ray Parlour claims 36-year-old will start ahead of new Arsenal signing
The Arsenal legend believes Petr Cech will start ahead of Gunners signing Bernd Leno

Petr Cech will start as Arsenal number one ahead of Bernd Leno in the Premier League next season, Ray Parlour has claimed.
The Gunners appointed Spanish head coach Unai Emery as Arsene Wenger’s replacement following the 2017-18 season.
Emery has wasted no time leaving his mark on Arsenal after the Gunners boss signed five new players in the summer transfer window.
The new Arsenal manager has brought in Leno in a £20m deal from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen last month.
Cech has been the north London side’s number one since his £11m move to Arsenal from Chelsea FC in the 2015 summer transfer window.
The Czech Republic goalkeeper has taken over the number one shirt since the end of the 2017-18 Premier League season.
Former Arsenal star Parlour believes the Gunners will start with Cech ahead of Leno.
“I’m very happy with the signing of Bernd Leno, though I think Petr Cech will still be the first-choice goalkeeper,” Parlour told bWIN.
“Leno is a young goalkeeper with great potential who’ll be looking to put as much pressure on Cech as possible.
“Goalkeeper is a vital position and Arsenal need a fantastic goalkeeper to be successful, so we need to hope Cech can pass on the torch to Leno for the years to come.”
Arsenal have also signed experienced Switzerland international Stephan Lichtsteiner in a free transfer from Serie A giants Juventus.
The Gunners snapped up Greece international Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Borussia Dortmund to improve their defence.
Emery has also overseen the additions of Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira and Lorient teenager Matteo Guendouzi.
