Shaka Hislop makes Arsenal prediction about Petr Cech
The ESPN FC pundit expects Petr Cech to last the season as Arsenal's number one

Shaka Hislop has predicted that Petr Cech will have one more season as Arsenal’s number one.
The Gunners are under new management this season following Unai Emery’s appointment as Petr Cech’s replacement.
Arsenal signed Germany international Bernd Leno in a £22m deal from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in June.
Leno will rival Cech and David Ospina for a starting spot in the Spanish head coach’s starting line up.
Emery made the decision to start Cech ahead of his summer signing for the visit of Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
The Czech Republic international struggled during Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City in the Premier League opener.
Cech was linked with a potential return to Chelsea FC in the summer but the Premier League winner ultimately remained at Arsenal.
Former West Ham goalkeeper Hislop believes Cech will spend at least another 12 months at Arsenal.
“It is not his game,” Hislop told ESPN FC.
“Leno will eventually be Arsenal’s number one goal. But Cech is there for at least one season.”
The Gunners have finished outside the top four in the last two Premier League campaigns to miss out on the Champions League spot.
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 when the Gunners finished the campaign without a loss.
