Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Why I love to play with key Arsenal star
The Arsenal striker sheds light on his relationship with France international Alexandre Lacazette

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has lifted the lid on his relationship with Arsenal team-mate Alexandre Lacazette.
The Gabon international moved to Arsenal in a club record £57m deal from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window to improve their attack.
Aubameyang’s transfer fee eclipsed the £52m fee that Arsenal spent on Lacazette last summer after the France international moved from Ligue 1 side Lyon.
The former Dortmund striker has established himself as the Gunners’ first-choice striker ahead of Lacazette to cast doubt on the Frenchman’s future at north London.
Aubameyang scored 10 goals in 14 games in all competitions following his move to Arsenal, while Lacazette netted 17 times in 39 appearances for the Gunners after his swich.
Speaking to ESPN about his relationship with Lacazette, Aubameyang said:
“We really get on well. There is a spark between us when we are both on the pitch together. We look for each other, we saw it today [Sunday] against City when he came on. I don’t mind playing on the left if Laca is in the centre. We both want to do our best for the team.”
Arsenal finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on the Champions League spot.
The Gunners appointed Spanish head coach Unai Emery as their new manager back in May following Arsene Wenger’s dismissal.
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 after the Gunners finished the campaign without a loss.
The north London side signed five players in the summer transfer window.
