The Arsenal legend issues his backing for Gunners boss Unai Emery
Charlie Nicholas says he is very happy with Arsenal manager Unai Emery ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Gunners parted company with Arsene Wenger at the end of the 2017-18 season after Arsenal finished in sixth place in the Premier League table to miss out on a Champions League spot.

The Gunners bolstered their centre-half options with the addition of Borussia Dortmund’s Sokratis Papastathopoulos before World Cup star Lucas Torreira arrived in a £26m deal from Serie A side Sampdoria.
French teenager Matteo Guendouzi was the final addition to the Arsenal squad from Lorient to put the cap on Emery’s overhaul at the north London outfit following his appointment.
Former Arsenal playmaker Nicholas issued his backing for Emery.
“I’m very happy with Unai Emery personally, especially with the way he did his business early, and you can guarantee these Arsenal players know that if they don’t perform they will be moved on like Jack Wilshere,” Nicholas told Sky Sports.
