Jamie Carragher: Arsenal boss Unai Emery similar to ex-Liverpool FC manager
The Liverpool FC legend likens Arsenal boss Unai Emery to Rafael Benitez

Jamie Carragher believes Unai Emery has a similar managerial style to his former Liverpool FC manager Rafael Benitez.
The Spanish head coach has taken over the reins from Arsene Wenger following the conclusion of a disappointing 2017-18 season.
Wenger led the Gunners to a sixth-placed finish in his final campaign in charge of the north London side to end his 22-year rein in disappointing style.
Former Paris Saint-Germain boss Emery has already signed five players in the summer transfer window to bolster his options ahead of his first Premier League campaign.
Arsenal started their summer spending with the addition of experienced Switzerland international Stephan Lichtsteiner in a free transfer from Serie A giants Juventus.
The Gunners snapped up Greece international Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Borussia Dortmund to improve their defence.
Emery has also overseen the additions of Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira and Lorient teenager Matteo Guendouzi.
The Spanish head coach has arrived at Arsenal with a wealth of experience following stints in charge of Getafe, Valencia, Sevilla, CSKA Moscow and PSG.
Former Liverpool FC defender Carragher explained what Arsenal supporters can expect from Wenger’s replacement in the new Premier League campaign.
“He is going to be a very similar manager to a manager I had in Rafa Benitez, going from a team that wasn’t one of the giants in Spain but was still competing and winning trophies,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“He makes it difficult for teams to play against them and will play 4-2-3-1. It will be very similar to Rafa.”
Arsenal will start their Premier League campaign with a clash against defending champions Manchester City on Sunday.
