Belgian reporter: Arsenal, Man United want 27-year-old defender
Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur delivers his verdict on Premier League interest in PSG defender Thomas Meunier

Arsenal and Manchester United are both pursuing Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier, according to Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur.
The Paris Saint-Germain defender is entering the final 12 months of his current deal at Parc des Princes, which means the full-back should be available in a cut-price deal in the 2019 summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old is a squad player for PSG rather than an automatic starter after he made 22 appearances in their title-winning campaign in Ligue 1 last term.
Meunier scored three goals and made three assists in a right-back role in Thomas Tuchel’s team as PSG won the Ligue 1 title at a canter.
The Belgium international is a Manchester United supporter and has previously uploaded photos at Old Trafford to watch the Red Devils.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery worked with the versatile defender at PSG during his stint in charge at Parc des Princes before he replaced Arsene Wenger at The Emirates.
Belgian reporter Terreur shed light on apparent Premier League interest in PSG defender.
Terruer wrote on Twitter: “Belgian wing back Thomas Meunier is a wanted man. Unai Emery is pushing to get him to Arsenal. Man United have him on their list too. PSG are keen on selling him for the right fee – +/- €25m. Meunier is a childhood United fan and even attended some games this season. #afc #mufc”
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term but the Gunners lost 4-1 to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final to miss out on a Champions League spot.
Manchester United, meanwhile, ended up in sixth place in the Premier League table following a 2-0 loss to Cardiff City on the final day of the season.
