Michael Owen states his prediction for Arsenal v Newcastle
The Liverpool legend is backing Arsenal to beat Newcastle United at The Emirates on Saturday

Michael Owen is tipping Arsenal to continue their fine record against Rafael Benitez when Newcastle United visit The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners are winless in their last three Premier League games following stalemates with Southampton and West Ham United over the past week.
Arsenal lost 3-1 to title rivals Manchester United in their last Premier League outing at the Emirates Stadium earlier this month.
However, the north London side have collected 21 points from their opening eight Premier League appearances in the current campaign.
The Gunners are in seventh place in the Premier League table but only one point separates them from Tottenham Hotspur in the final Champions League qualifying spot.
Newcastle, on the other hand, lost 1-0 to Everton at St James’ Park mid-week to extend their losing streak to four Premier League games.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Arsenal to beat Newcastle in the Premier League in north London on Saturday.
“Arsenal have won their last nine Premier League games against Newcastle and they are likely to make that ten at the weekend given the Magpies have picked up just one point from their last eight league games – the worst record in the division,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Rafa Benitez has never won at Arsenal in the Premier League and these are worrying times for my former club who face a difficult game at West Ham next weekend before they entertain Manchester City over Christmas.”
Arsenal finished in fifth spot last term to miss out on a place in the Champions League for the first time under Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners signed Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette and Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac in the summer transfer window.
