Alex Iwobi makes admission about Arsenal’s loss to Liverpool FC
Alex Iwobi opens up about Arsenal's 4-0 loss to Liverpool in the Premier League back in August

Alex Iwobi has admitted that Arsenal’s 4-0 thrashing by Liverpool has sparked a turnaround in the north London club’s season.
The FA Cup holders were thrashed by the Reds at Anfield back in August as they lost back to back games following their 1-0 defeat by Stoke City.
The Gunners were heavily criticised for their lacklustre display on Merseyside but the north Londoners have since bounced back with improved form in all competitions.
And Iwobi has revealed how the Liverpool loss has helped to spark a turnaround in form for the north London side.
Speaking to the Sun, Iwobi said: “A week after that [loss to Liverpool], we had talks about what went wrong, how are we going to react from this, and ever since then we’ve won every game bar the Chelsea game.
“We are using that as a motivation in every game. We are always fighting for the manager in training, we have so much respect for him.”
Arsenal are currently preparing for their trip to Watford in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Gunners head into that game in fifth place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Manchester City after their 2-0 victory over Brighton last time out.
The 21-year-old Iwobi has scored one goal in three Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far this season as he bids to try and help the Gunners win the title for the first time this season since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League last season but won the FA Cup for the third time in four years.
