Top 24-year-old tells Arsenal he wants £200,000-a-week deal – report
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has told Arsenal he wants a new deal worth £200,000 a week to stay at the club, say reports

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has told Arsenal that he wants a contract worth £200,000 a week if he is to commit his future to the north London club, according to reports.
The Daily Star is reporting that the 24-year-old midfielder has turned down the offer of a new deal worth around £150,000 a week to extend his current contract with the Gunners.
The same report says that Oxlade-Chamberlain has told Arsenal that he will only accept a four-year deal of £200,000 a week, which would represent a £40m commitment from the club.
Like Alexis Sanchez, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s future at Arsenal has been a source of speculation after he entered into the final 12 months of his contract at The Emirates.
The story says that Arsenal initially offered the midfielder £125,000 a week, but Arsene Wenger boosted that offer to £150,000 in talks with Oxlade-Chamberlain last week.
However, the article claims that the England international and his representatives have made it clear that the midfielder is holding out for more.
It remains to be seen whether the midfielder will still be an Arsenal player when the transfer window closes on Thursday night.
The former Southampton man could line up for the Gunners when they take on Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
