Alexandre Lacazette has vowed to help Arsenal win trophies after signing for the Gunners on Wednesday.
The French forward was unveiled as the club’s second signing on Wednesday afternoon after days of speculation linking him with a move to The Emirates.
The 26-year-old will link up with his new team-mates and will aim to help them mount a serious Premier League title challenge next season after the Gunners finished fifth last term.
And Lacazette has promised Arsenal fans that he will do everything to try and bring major honours to The Emirates and prove himself worthy of playing for the club.
Asked if he had a message for Arsenal fans, Lacazette told Arsenal’s website: “I want to give one hundred per cent in every match. I want to show I’m worthy of the shirt.
“I want to do everything I can to make sure we win titles.”
Arsenal are currently preparing for their pre-season tour to Australia as they get ready for the new campaign.
The north London side will have to make do without Champions League football next season after their fifth-placed finish consigned them to Europa League qualification.
