Arsene Wenger sends message to Arsenal fans about Alexandre Lacazette after opener
Arsene Wenger singles out Alexandre Lacazette for special praise after Arsenal's win over Leicester

Arsene Wenger has revealed his delight with how Alexandre Lacazette has adapted to life at Arsenal.
The French striker was in impressive form as he scored the opening goal in Arsenal’s thrilling 4-3 victory over Leicester City at The Emirates in their Premier League opener on Friday night.
The 26-year-old, who signed for the Gunners from French side Lyon back in July, was a constant threat in front of goal and looked like he will have no problems in adapting to the rigours of the Premier League.
Goals from Danny Welbeck, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud eventually wrapped up the three points in a seven-goal thriller at The Emirates.
And Wenger chose to single out Lacazette for special praise after his impressive performance in north London.
Speaking at his post-match news conference, Wenger said: “Lacazette is simple in every game.
“He is stronger since he has joined us, you know and even when I played Giroud through the middle and him on the left, he did very well on the left, so overall I think he adapts slowly to the way we want to play and he is a collective player and an intelligent player as well.”
Lacazette will be hoping to feature for Arsenal again when the Gunners take on Stoke City in their next Premier League game on Saturday afternoon.
The north London side will be aiming to improve on their disappointing fifth-placed finish in the Premier League from last season.
