Arsenal star makes £400,000-a-week contract demand – report
Alexis Sanchez is demanding £400,000 a week to sign a new contract at Arsenal, say reports

Alexis Sanchez is demanding a £400,000 a week deal to sign a new contract with Arsenal, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Chile international is holding out for a staggering £400,000 a week, which is £125,000 a week more than Arsenal’s current offer of £275,000.
The same report states that Manchester City are keen to sign Sanchez this summer but Arsenal do not want to sell the 28-year-old to a Premier League rival.
The story also claims that there is a “growing feeling” that Sanchez is prepared to see out his contract until next summer and then leave on a free transfer.
The report comes after Arsenal confirmed the signing of French striker Alexandre Lacazette on Wednesday to signal the club’s ambition for the future.
Mesut Ozil, who is also out of contract next summer, is reported to be asking for wages of around £350,000 a week.
Arsenal will have to make do without Champions League football next season after the Gunners finished fifth in the Premier League table last term.
However, they did end the season on a high by beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final in May.
