Stan Kroenke has admitted that he would love to see Arsenal keep hold of both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

The pair’s futures have been a relentless source of speculation in recent months after they both entered into the final two years of their contracts at The Emirates.

Sanchez was heavily linked with a transfer away from Arsenal throughout the summer window and it is believed that he came close to a move to Manchester City before he ended up staying at The Emirates.

The pair were both in fine form when Arsenal sealed a 5-2 win over Everton at Goodison Park last weekend, with both Ozil and Sanchez finding the net.

It remains to be seen whether either of the pair are prepared to commit their futures to the north London club by signing new deals.

However, Arsenal majority shareholder Kroenke admits that he would love to see the duo stay at the club beyond their current deals.

Kroenke told the Daily Telegraph, as quoted by Metro: “We want to attract top players, keep top players and those guys are top players.

“I watched them on Sunday and they looked really good and played really, really, really well.

“We’d love to keep them. It takes two to dance; we’ll keep working to keep our top talent and to attract more talent but some of the guys we’ve got are looking pretty good.”

Both Sanchez and Ozil will be hoping to feature for Arsenal when the Gunners return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Swansea at The Emirates.
