Danny Murphy predicts where Arsenal will finish this season
Danny Murphy has his say on where he thinks Arsenal will finish in the Premier League table this season

Danny Murphy is tipping Arsenal to finish in the Premier League’s top six this season.
The Gunners are currently gearing up for Unai Emery’s second season in charge at The Emirates as the Spaniard looks to guide the north London side to Champions League qualification.
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term and squandered their final chance to qualify for the Champions League when they were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea FC in the Europa League final back in May.
The north London side have made a number of new signings this summer including Nicolas Pepe from Lille and Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid.
However, former Liverpool FC midfielder Murphy seems to think that Arsenal are only likely to finish in the Premier League’s top six places this season.
Speaking in an interview with the Daily Mail, Murphy said: “A few clubs think they can have a crack at breaking into the top six, with Arsenal looking most vulnerable.
“It would be good for the Premier League for someone to break through.
“But I think the Gunners have too much firepower in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and £72m new boy Nicolas Pepe to lose their status [in the top six].”
Arsenal will kick off their Premier League campaign with a trip to Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign under Arsene Wenger.
Emery was brought in as Wenger’s successor in May 2018 after the Frenchman called time on his decorated spell with the Gunners.
