David Luiz makes Arsenal vow after Liverpool FC defeat
David Luiz opens up about Arsenal's style of play after their 3-1 loss to Liverpool FC on Saturday

David Luiz has insisted that he and his Arsenal team-mates are going to continue working hard to be able to play out from the back in the coming games.
Arsenal suffered their first Premier League defeat of the season on Saturday evening when they were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool FC at Anfield.
Joel Matip opened the scoring in the first half with a header from a corner, before Mohamed Salah converted his penalty shortly after half-time following a foul by David Luiz.
The Egypt international then netted his second goal of the evening later in the second half as Liverpool FC sealed the win, before substitute Lucas Torreira pulled a goal back for the visitors.
Luiz has been settling into life at Arsenal after joining the Gunners from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window.
And the defender feels confident that he and his team-mates will be able to adapt to their style of playing out from the back in the coming games.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Luiz said: “It’s the style of our team. We are trying to build from the back.
“We have the quality for that, so we are going to try to improve every single game and try to make our plan work in every game.
“We were trying to play today from the back, to try to give possibilities for the ball to arrive between the lines and to attack from deep. So that’s what we were trying to do.”
Arsenal will now turn their attentions towards their Premier League showdown with local rivals Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
