Arsenal close to signing 23-year-old Brazilian from Gremio – report
Arsenal are close to signing attacking midfielder Everton from Gremio, say reports in Brazil

Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal to sign Everton from Gremio, according to reports in the Brazilian media.
Fox Sports in Brazil, as quoted by Calciomercato, is reporting that the Gunners are closing in on a deal to land the 23-year-old this summer.
The same story says that Everton was formerly a transfer target for Italian club AC Milan, but Arsenal now appear to be close to snapping him up.
Everton was in good form for Brazil as he helped his national team to win the Copa America trophy this summer, scoring three times in the competition.
Now, it is being claimed in the same report that Arsenal have sent medical doctors to Brazil to weigh up an official approach for the attacking midfielder.
Everton also scored three goals in the Brazilian league last season, netting a further three times in the Copa Libertadores.
Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer but so far they have only signed Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season after they lost the Europa League final 4-1 to Chelsea FC.
