Henrikh Mkhitaryan sends message to Unai Emery after Arsenal appointment
Henrikh Mkhitaryan offers his reaction to Arsenal's appointment of Unai Emery as the club's new manager

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has issued his backing for Unai Emery after the Spaniard was confirmed as Arsenal’s new manager this week.
The former Paris Saint-Germain boss was unveiled as the club’s new manager on Wednesday after days of speculation linking him with the vacant manager’s role at The Emirates.
Emery was chosen as the right man to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal after the Frenchman opted to step down at the end of the season after almost 22 years in charge of the club.
Attentions will now turn towards the impact Emery will have at The Emirates as he looks to transform Arsenal into title challengers in the next few seasons.
And Mkhitaryan, who himself has been settling into life at Arsenal following his January move from Manchester United, is looking forward to working under the new man in charge at the north London club.
Mkhitaryan told VivaroNews Sport, as quoted by Metro: “I still haven’t had an opportunity to meet him. We didn’t have time to talk with each other,
“I hope he will bring new tactical ideas and spirit to Arsenal, and I hope he will succeed.
“I haven’t talked to my team-mates about him. I would like to meet him. Everyone at the club is a professional. Everyone knows what he should do and what he is expected to do.”
Arsenal will have to make do without Champions League football next season, with the Gunners having finished in a disappointing sixth place in the Premier League this term.
The north London side have not won the Premier League since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
