Jose Mourinho makes prediction about Henrikh Mkhitaryan after he signs for Arsenal
Jose Mourinho is tipping Henrikh Mkhitaryan to achieve 'happiness and success' at Arsenal following his Man United exit

Jose Mourinho has backed Henrikh Mkhitaryan to achieve “happiness and success” at Arsenal after he finally completed his transfer from Manchester United on Monday evening.
The deal went through on Monday after days of speculation linking the Armenia international with a switch to The Emirates as part of the deal which saw Alexis Sanchez head to Manchester United.
Mkhitaryan had fallen dramatically out of favour at Old Trafford under Mourinho this season after having started the season strongly, casting serious doubt about his future at the club.
And the 29-year-old has now signed a long-term contract with Arsenal as he bids to rediscover his top form with the north London club.
But Mourinho was quick to send Mkhitaryan a heartfelt goodbye message after the transfer was completed on Monday.
Mourinho told Manchester United’s website: “I would like to wish Henrikh all the success and happiness that I am sure he is going to get.
“He is a player that we will not forget, especially for his contribution to our Europa League victory.”
Mkhitaryan was one of Mourinho’s first signings as Manchester United boss as he brought the Armenia international to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer of 2016.
Arsenal are now preparing for the second leg of their League Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea at The Emirates on Wednesday night.
The two London sides drew 0-0 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
