Jermaine Jenas: Arsenal star is just a class act, it’s ridiculous
Jermaine Jenas lavishes praise on Jack Wilshere for his solid performances for Arsenal this season

Jermaine Jenas has lavished praise on Jack Wilshere for his recent solid performances for Arsenal.
The England midfielder has found his first-team opportunities at The Emirates to be severely restricted this season but he has managed to notch up some game-time in the Europa League for Arsene Wenger’s men.
Wilshere scored his first goal in years for the Gunners on Thursday night when he helped to inspire Arsenal to a 6-0 win over Bate Borisov in the Europa League at The Emirates.
Despite his impressive performances in Europe, Wilshere has struggled to break into the first team in the Premier League and is yet to start a game in the top flight so far this season.
However, former Tottenham star Wilshere is clearly a keen admirer of the England international.
Speaking to BT Sport last week, Jenas said of Wilshere: “He’s just a class act, he really is.
“He sees the right things and tends to have a ridiculous amount of time on the ball to pick his moments.
“He gets his head up, he’s never rushed.
“For him to really be knocking on the door for England and Arsenal, that’s exactly what he needs to do – get goals and assists.”
Wilshere will be hoping to make his first start of the season in the Premier League for Arsenal when the Gunners take on Southampton on Sunday lunchtime.
The north London side are aiming to break back into the top four after having slipped into fifth place following their 3-1 loss to Manchester United last weekend.
