Jamie Carragher: What I really think about Alexandre Lacazette at Arsenal
Jamie Carragher delivers his verdict on Alexandre Lacazette and his start to life at Arsenal this season

Jamie Carragher has described Alexandre Lacazette’s start to life at Arsenal as “OK” following the striker’s transfer from Lyon last summer.
The France international has been a regular fixture in the first team for the Gunners this term after having arrived at the club from Lyon in a £50m deal in July.
The 26-year-old has scored eight goals and made two assists in 19 Premier League games for Arsenal as he tries to help fire the Gunners up the table.
Lacazette has been adapting to the rigours of the Premier League in recent months after having been in impressive form in Ligue 1 for Lyon over the last few years.
Carragher has been keeping a close eye on Lacazette this season and claims that he has not lived up to the hype since his move to The Emirates.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Friday night, Carragher said: “He has been OK.
“He hasn’t done as well as we thought he would.
“What you can see is if he gets the right service around him, he can be a real threat.
“He is a goal-scorer. He sniffs things out. He still has time. It is early in his career.”
Lacazette will be expecting to start for Arsenal when the Gunners return to Premier League action on Thursday night with a trip to Selhurst Park.
Their thrilling 3-3 draw with Liverpool FC on Friday night left Arsenal in sixth place in the Premier League table and once again seemingly facing an uphill battle in trying to break back into the top four.
