Alexandre Lacazette sends message to Arsenal fans about Ian Wright
Alexandre Lacazette admits he was flattered to hear of comparisons between him and Arsenal legend Ian Wright

Alexandre Lacazette has admitted that he has been flattered to hear about comparisons between himself and Arsenal legend Ian Wright.
The French striker became Arsenal’s second signing of the summer last week when he joined the north London side from Lyon on a long-term contract.
Lacazette has been getting to grips with life as an Arsenal player this week after he jetted off to Sydney for the club’s pre-season tour.
Some have compared Lacazette’s style of play to that of Arsenal legend Wright – and it is something which greatly pleases the France international.
Speaking to Arsenal’s website, Lacazette said: “I know about Ian Wright very well. I’ve never seen him play but if I am compared to him that is great.
“If I have a career where fans think of me like they do about Ian Wright then I’ll be very happy.”
He added: “I have arrived at a very special club, a very good club who are very organised.
“With the other players in the team, there are very high levels so it is a great opportunity for me to improve.”
Lacazette will be hoping to help Arsenal challenge for the Premier League title next season after the Gunners ended up in a disappointing fifth place in the table last term.
It means that Lacazette and his team-mates will have to make do with only Europa League football next term.
The Gunners did end the campaign on a high, however, when they beat Chelsea to win the FA Cup in their final game of the season.
