Martin Keown sends encouraging message to Arsenal fans about Jack Wilshere
The Arsenal legend is encouraged to see Jack Wilshere get a chance at the Gunnners in recent months

Martin Keown has admitted that he is encouraged to see Arsene Wenger give Jack Wilshere another chance to salvage his Arsenal career.
The England international returned to the north London club in the summer following his season-long loan move at Bournemouth.
Wilshere made two assists in 25 appearances in the Premier League for the Cherries last season before breaking his leg.
The 25-year-old made his first appearance of the season as a second-half substitute in a 3-1 win against Cologne in the Europa League.
Wilshere made his first start in a 2-0 win against Doncaster Rovers in the League Cup before he completed 90 minutes of Arsenal’s 4-2 win against BATE Borisov in the Europa League.
Former Arsenal defender Keown is pleased to see Wilshere get another chance to shine at the Gunners despite his poor injury record.
“It is encouraging to hear Wenger say that he does not want to let Wilshere go,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“He is one of the best English players to have been developed in recent years and it will be to England’s benefit at the World Cup if he can start playing regularly.”
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League last season to miss out on Champions League football.
The Gunners signed two players in the summer transfer window.
