Jack Wilshere wants to leave Arsenal to join Premier League rival – report
The Arsenal midfielder is hoping to complete a move to West Ham, according to reports in England
Jack Wilshere is hoping to swap Arsenal for West Ham in an attempt to resurrect his stalling career, according to reports in England.
The Daily Star is reporting that Wilshere was left disillusioned after Arsene Wenger failed to include the England international in his squad to face Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
The same article states that Wilshere considered his omission a clear sign that he has no future at Arsenal following his second-half cameo in a 3-1 win against Cologne last week.
Wilshere, who was once considered a bright England prospect, has entered the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract to throw up the possibility of a free transfer next summer.
The 25-year-old spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Bournemouth where he made two assists in 25 appearances in the Premier League.
Arsenal played out a goalless draw with defending champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend as the Gunners ended their losing run on the road in the Premier League.
The north London side lost 1-0 to Stoke City and 4-0 to Liverpool in the English top flight to heap pressure on Wenger.
Arsenal have beaten Bournemouth and Leicester City in their home Premier League games to collect seven points from a possible 15.
