Alexandre Lacazette has revealed that he won’t feel completely settled at Arsenal until he has struck up a strong understanding with his team-mates at The Emirates.

The French striker became Arsenal’s club record signing back in July when he joined the north London side from Lyon as Arsene Wenger bolstered his attacking options.

The forward has made a strong start to life in an Arsenal shirt, scoring two goals in his first four appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners.

However, the 26-year-old says that he still needs time to get used to playing with his new team-mates as he continues to adapt to life at The Emirates.

Lacazette told Arsenal’s website: “Obviously a couple of months isn’t long enough to get to know my team-mates really well.

“I’ll be happy when I have that understanding with them on the pitch with my eyes shut.

“It has been going well already, as I’ve managed to score some goals and boost my confidence. It’s going well.”

The striker will be hoping to start up front for the Gunners when they take on Chelsea in their crunch Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The north London side head into the game looking to back up their 3-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend and after their 3-1 victory over Cologne in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League last season but won the FA Cup for the third time in four years.
