Arsenal confident of making 21-year-old their third summer signing – report
Arsenal are confident that a third bid of £45m will tempt Monaco into selling Thomas Lemar, according to reports

Arsenal are “increasingly confident” that their latest offer of around £45m will be enough to land Thomas Lemar from Monaco this summer.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the north London club are convinced that their next offer for the 21-year-old French midfielder will be enough to tempt the Ligue 1 champions into selling.
The same story claims that Arsenal have already had bids of £30m and £40m rejected by Monaco but the Gunners are now closing in on the signature of the midfielder.
Should Arsenal complete the signing of Lemar, he would become their third recruit of the summer after the arrivals of striker Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac.
Lemar scored 14 goals and made 14 assists in all competitions for Monaco last season as they won the Ligue 1 title.
Arsenal will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title next season after the north London side finished in a disappointing fifth place last term.
However, Arsene Wenger’s men did end the season on a high by beating Chelsea to win the FA Cup at Wembley back in May.
