Arsenal backed to challenge for the Premier League title next season
Glenn Hoddle is confident that Arsenal will be able to challenge for the Premier League title next season

Glenn Hoddle is confident that Arsenal will be able to challenge for the Premier League title next season if they repeat their performances from the end of the last campaign.
The north London side came in for plenty of criticism last term as the Gunners failed to find consistent form in the Premier League and were also dumped out of the Champions League in the last 16.
Indeed, Arsenal struggled so much that they missed out on a top four finish and will have to settle for Europa League football next season.
However, former Tottenham Hotspur manager Hoddle was hugely impressed by the way Arsenal finished the season on a high and beat Chelsea to win the FA Cup at Wembley last month.
And Hoddle feels that the Gunners will be well-placed to challenge for the title next season with their current squad.
Hoddle told ITV Sport: “For me, it’s not about who they bring in, I think they’ve got a really good side,
“The change is an attitude change, they need to change their attitude.
“If they get close to playing how they did in the FA Cup final against Chelsea, they will be right up there again challenging.
“Every player was on it that day, on the ball and off the ball.
“That’s what Arsenal haven’t had. They’ve got good players, they’ve got very good players still there and if they keep this squad, they might add to it but personally I don’t think they have to add that much, it’s an attitude change.
“If they all play like they did there, for the manager that day, they were excellent against Chelsea.
“They caught Chelsea on the hop and Chelsea didn’t know what hit them for long periods of the game.”
Arsenal have signed left-back Sead Kolasinac from Schalke this summer but continue to be linked with a host of other stars.
