Arsenal are set to tie up a deal to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City as their next summer signing, according to Richard Keys.
The north London side have been heavily linked with a move for Mahrez this summer but the Gunners are yet to conclude a deal for the Algerian winger.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger remained coy when asked about the speculation linking Mahrez with a move to the Gunners earlier in the summer.
However, former Sky Sports presenter Keys claims that Arsenal are closing in on a deal to bring Mahrez to north London from Leicester this summer.
Keys wrote on Twitter: “Arsenal are getting busy. Mahrez next.”
Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they prepare to try and battle for the Premier League title next season.
Mahrez is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s finest attacking talents, with the winger having been voted as the PFA player of the year in the 2015-16 season.
Arsenal, however, will have to make do without Champions League football next season after the Gunners finished fifth in the Premier League last term under Wenger.
