Mesut Ozil sends message to Arsene Wenger about his Arsenal position
Mesut Ozil admits that he would much rather play as a number 10 than on the right for Arsenal

Mesut Ozil has admitted that he is having to “accept” playing out of position on the right for Arsenal this season.
The Germany playmaker has struggled with a knee injury in the opening weeks of the campaign but was in top form as he helped to inspire Arsenal to a thrilling 5-2 victory over Everton in the Premier League last weekend.
Ozil has been deployed out wide on the right for Arsenal in recent weeks as Arsene Wenger looks to accommodate the attacking threat of him, Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette into his team.
And although Ozil admits that he would much rather play in the number 10 role, he is ready to accept his new position for the north London side.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ozil said: “I know myself better than anyone else and I’m someone who needs to have fun on the pitch.
“Everyone knows my favourite position is the playmaker, the No 10, at the moment the coach plays me on the right and it’s a thing I need to accept and to show my quality in that position.
“Of course I’m happy to perform and give good performances individually, but it’s more important that we do that as a team. I think we did that really well against Everton.”
Ozil will be expecting to start for Arsenal when the Gunners return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a home clash against Swansea City at The Emirates.
The north London side head into this weekend’s round of fixtures in fifth place in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Manchester City after nine games of the new campaign.
Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League table last season.
