Mesut Ozil is set to stay at Arsenal beyond the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is claiming that the German looks set to remain at The Emirates because no approaches have been made for the World Cup winner this summer.
The same story says that Arsenal are looking to offload their top earner, who is said to earn around £350,000 a week at the north London club.
It is claimed in the same story that the north London side are “open” to offers to sell Ozil this summer, as they look to raise some extra funds for manager Unai Emery in the transfer window.
Emery is believed to have only £45m to work with this summer as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.
According to the same story, Arsenal were hoping to offload Ozil to raise funds to help Emery with his summer transfer business.
However, the article says that the Gunners have received no formal offers for the 30-year-old so far, and as things stand, he will remain at The Emirates.
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season.
