Arsenal among clubs keen on signing 23-year-old attacker – report
Arsenal are among the clubs keen on signing Basel star Mohamed Elyounoussi, according to reports

Arsenal are among the clubs monitoring Basel star Mohamed Elyounoussi ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
ESPN is reporting that the Gunners, along with Premier League rivals Leicester City and Southampton, are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old as the summer window draws nearer.
The same report says that all three Premier League clubs watched Elyounoussi put in a man-of-the match performance during Basel’s 2-1 win over Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Norway international has scored seven goals and made one assist in all competitions for Basel so far this season and he has been earning plenty of praise for his sparkling displays for the Swiss side.
According to the same story, the attacking midfielder has been attracting interest from Arsenal since the Gunners came up against Basel in the Champions League group stage last term.
The report also claims that Swiss side Basel are well aware of the growing interest in the midfielder and are “bracing” themselves for offers in the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Arsenal took a big step towards reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night with an impressive 2-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro.
Arsenal will take on Watford at The Emirates in the Premier League on Sunday.
