Patrick Vieira names what Arsenal need to win the league again
Patrick Vieira believes that Arsenal need more "physical presence" in their team to challenge for the title

Patrick Vieira believes that Arsenal need more of a “physical presence” in their team if they are to win the Premier League again.
The north London side have struggled to find consistent form in recent seasons and have been widely criticised for their failure to challenge for the title.
Indeed, Arsenal have not won the Premier League trophy since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign, when Vieira was still playing for the Gunners at Highbury.
Much has been made of Arsenal’s failure to mount a serious title challenge in recent seasons, but Vieira feels that the Gunners’ have come up short simply because they do not have the physicality needed to challenge.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Friday night, Vieira said: “When you look at the balance of the [Arsenal] team, physical presence is important to win the Premier League.”
Arsenal were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw with Liverpool FC at The Emirates last week in their final game before Christmas.
The Gunners will return to Premier League action on Thursday night when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Despite not winning the Premier League, Arsenal have at least won the FA Cup in three of the last four seasons.
The north London side, though, finished fifth in the table last term as they missed out on Champions League qualification.
