Paul Merson predicts where Arsenal will finish this term
Paul Merson has already ruled Arsenal out of the Premier League title race this season

Paul Merson has ruled Arsenal out of the Premier League title race after just one game.
The Gunners kicked off the new season by securing a thrilling 4-3 win over Leicester City at The Emirates earlier this month as Arsene Wenger’s men secured the three points from their opener.
Arsenal are now gearing up for their trip to Stoke City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon as they look to try and win the title for the first time since their famous unbeaten triumph back in 2003-04.
However, former Arsenal star Merson believes that Wenger’s side have absolutely no chance of being able to win the Premier League title this season.
Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Merson said: “Will Arsenal improve at the back when they get players back from injury? No. They play a certain way and that’s why they won’t win the Premier League.”
Arsenal are having to settle for Europa League football this season after they ended up in a disappointing fifth place in the Premier League table last term.
The Gunners did end last season on a positive note, however, when they beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley to win the trophy for the third time in four years, before also emerging victorious against the Blues in the Community Shield earlier this month.
