Reiss Nelson makes vow to Arsenal fans about the season ahead
Reiss Nelson is determined to seize his chance to prove himself in the Arsenal team this season

Reiss Nelson has promised Arsenal fans that he is going to give it his all to earn a regular spot in Unai Emery’s starting line-up this season.
The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at German side Hoffenheim and netted seven times in 23 Bundesliga games.
Nelson is now back at The Emirates and aiming to prove a point to Emery as the Gunners look to challenge for Champions League qualification this season.
The teenager started both of Arsenal’s first two games this season but he was an unused substitute in the 3-1 defeat by Liverpool FC at Anfield at the weekend.
Nelson is facing increased competition for a starting spot in Emery’s side, with the Gunners having recruited winger Nicolas Pepe from Lille in the summer transfer window.
However, the young attacker seems to be confident that he has what it takes to prove himself in the first team at The Emirates this season.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Evening Standard, Nelson said: “All the competition that’s here, all the new wingers Arsenal have signed… I think this could be my time.
“I need to just keep training hard and getting all the information from the coaches and the players. If I do that, I’m going to have a big, big shout this season.
“It’s about taking those steps, doing the easy thing and getting the basics right first. Once I do that, I think I will get chances. Then it’s up to me to perform and do well for the team.”
Arsenal will now switch their attentions towards their crunch north London derby clash against Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners finished fifth and without a trophy last term after having lost the Europa League final to Chelsea FC.
