Rio Ferdinand warns Arsenal star that now is his final chance
Rio Ferdinand warns Jack Wilshere that it's now his "final chance" to prove himself at Arsenal

Rio Ferdinand has warned Jack Wilshere that it’s now his “final chance” to prove that he has what it takes to be a regular in the Arsenal first team.
The 25-year-old has been badly hampered by injuries in recent seasons and he was shipped out on loan to Bournemouth last term after having fallen down the pecking order at The Emirates.
Wilshere is now back at Arsenal and fighting for a first-team place at the club as he bids to try and work his way back into Arsene Wenger’s plans.
The midfielder has been impressing during his appearances in the Europa League for the north London side and he made his first Premier League start of the season on Wednesday night during the goalless draw with West Ham.
Wilshere will now be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the first team and prove himself as a vital player in Wenger’s side.
And former Manchester United defender Ferdinand reckons that it’s now or never for the England international, who has struggled to avoid serious injuries over the years.
Speaking to BT Sport on Wednesday night, Ferdinand said: “This is the fittest he’s looked for many a year.
“This is almost like his final chance at Arsenal now because he’s promised so much over the years. But injuries have held this kid back.”
Wilshere will be hoping to feature for Arsenal when the Gunners take on Newcastle United in the Premier League at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.
