Shkodran Mustafi’s father and agent opens up on possible Arsenal exit
Shkodran Mustafi's father and agent admits that the defender could leave Arsenal this month

Shkodran Mustafi’s father and agent has admitted that the defender could leave Arsenal before the close of the European transfer window next month.
The German defender’s future at The Emirates has been called into question after the Gunners moved to bring in David Luiz in the summer transfer window.
Mustafi, 27, is yet to start a game for the Gunners this season and he could be on his way out of The Emirates before the European transfer deadline on 2 September.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery recently advised both Mustafi and Mohamed Elneny to move on from the club after deeming the pair to be surplus to requirements.
Now, Mustafi’s father and agent Kujtim has suggested that a move away from The Emirates is on the cards.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Mirror, Kujtim Mustafi said: “Shkodran had a great time with Arsenal. We still have a contract for two years and can imagine to stay in London.
“However the best for both sides is probably to work on a transfer. But for that it also needs market-driven transfer-fees.”
Arsenal are looking to try and break back into the top four this season after they finished in fifth place and without a trophy last term.
The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign under Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal will return to Premier League action next Sunday with a crunch clash against Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates.
