Arsenal set asking price for selling 27-year-old – report
Arsenal have set an asking price of £27m for selling Shkodran Mustafi this summer, say reports

Arsenal have set an asking price of £27m for selling Shkodran Mustafi this summer amid interest from Monaco, according to reports.
French outlet L’Equipe, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Gunners are looking to recoup as much of the £35m they spent on signing the defender as possible.
According to the same story, Monaco have made an enquiry about the possibility of signing the 27-year-old this summer, and Arsenal are keen to get a fee of at least €30m (£27m) for the centre-half.
It is claimed in the same article that Unai Emery told the Arsenal board to sell Mustafi after the club’s Europa League final defeat by Chelsea FC in Baku at the end of May.
Mustafi was jeered by some Arsenal fans when he was introduced as a second-half substitute during the Gunners’ Emirates Cup defeat by Lyon at the weekend.
The defender was a regular fixture in Emery’s first team last season, scoring two goals in 31 Premier League games for the north London side as they finished fifth in the table.
Arsenal will begin their Premier League campaign with a trip to Newcastle United on Sunday 11 August as they aim to break into the top four this season.
