Arsenal want to make 22-year-old winger their first January signing – report
Arsenal want to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco in January, according to reports

Arsenal will make a fresh attempt to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Gunners will return with a new bid to try and land the 22-year-old France international after having been heavily linked with him over the summer.
However, the same report states that Arsenal’s new bid for the winger will be some way short of the reported £90m offer they made for the attacker in the summer transfer window.
The same story says that Arsenal’s big-money bid for Lemar in the summer would have been largely funded by the sale of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City for a fee of around £60m.
The report also claims that Arsenal’s hopes of finally landing Lemar may be boosted because the player himself is now keen on a move away from the Ligue 1 side.
Arsenal are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the January transfer window edges closer.
Lemar has scored one goal and made three assists in 11 Ligue 1 games for Monaco so far this season, and he has also featured three times in the Champions League.
