Tottenham and Arsenal interested in signing 36-year-old Brazilian – report
Tottenham and Arsenal join Man City in the race to sign Dani Alves this summer, say reports

Tottenham and Arsenal have joined Manchester City in the race to sign free agent Dani Alves this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by the Daily Mail, is reporting that both of the north London clubs are keeping tabs on Alves’ situation after he left Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The same story says that both Arsenal and Spurs want to sign Alves this summer, with Manchester City having also been heavily linked with a move for the Brazil international.
According to the same article, Spurs are considering a move to sign Alves to bring in cover for Kieran Trippier, who could leave White Hart Lane this summer.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are said to be considering Alves as an alternative to Hector Bellerin, who is still recovering from a serious injury.
The 36-year-old scored one goal and made seven assists in 23 Ligue 1 games for PSG last season as they retained their French league crown.
Arsenal have so far only signed Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli this summer as they prepare for Unai Emery’s second season in charge at The Emirates.
The Gunners finished in fifth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term.
