Journalist: Man City to offer Arsenal 22-year-old attacker in deal for Alexis Sanchez
Manchester City are prepared to include Raheem Sterling as part of the deal to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, says Kaveh Solhekol

Manchester City are prepared to offer Raheem Sterling to Arsenal as part of the deal to sign Alexis Sanchez before Thursday’s deadline, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Sky Sports News reporter is claiming that the Citizens are ready to make an official bid to sign Sanchez from the Gunners after having been linked with the 28-year-old all summer.
Solhekol claims that Manchester City are ready to include the 22-year-old Sterling as part of the deal but says Arsenal are demanding Sergio Aguero instead.
Sanchez’s future has been a relentless source of speculation all summer, with the Chile international having less than 12 months left of his current deal at The Emirates.
Reporter Solhekol tweeted on Tuesday morning: “Man City will make offer for Alexis Sanchez. Willing to offer Raheem Sterling to Arsenal as part of deal. One source says Arsenal want Aguero.”
It remains to be seen whether Sanchez, who joined the Gunners from Barcelona back in 2014, will remain as an Arsenal player beyond Thursday’s 23:00 BST deadline.
Sanchez made his first appearance of the season for Arsenal on Sunday when he started the Gunners’ disastrous 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool at Anfield.
The north London side, who finished fifth and won the FA Cup last season, have lost two of their opening three Premier League games this season to leave them in 16th place in the table.
