Arsenal still ‘some way off’ valuation of 26-year-old striker – report
Arsenal are still way off Crystal Palace's valuation of Wilfried Zaha, say reports

Arsenal are still some way off Crystal Palace’s valuation of Wilfried Zaha, according to reports in the British media.
The Independent is reporting that the Gunners have “upped” their offer for the 26-year-old Ivory Coast international, but they are still a significant way behind Palace’s £80m valuation of the forward.
According to the same story, Arsenal’s latest offer for Zaha has been £55m up front plus a further £10m dependent on clauses – as well as offering the highly-rated Reiss Nelson on loan as part of the deal.
However, the same article says that Crystal Palace have insisted that remains “nowhere near” enough.
Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for Zaha all summer but it seems that they will have to significantly up their bid if they want to land their man.
The same article says that Arsenal are likely to going to need to up their bid in terms of cash up front to tempt Palace into selling the striker this summer.
However, despite their rebuffed attempts to sign him up until this point, the article also says that there is still a feeling that a deal will eventually happen before the transfer window closes next month.
