Arsenal told leading 28-year-old striker would be ‘real asset’
ESPN FC pundit Alejandro Moreno believes Arsenal should look to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund this summer

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would be a real asset to the Arsenal squad, according to ESPN’s Alejandro Moreno.
The Gabon international is facing an uncertain future at Borussia Dortmund, with the striker being heavily tipped to leave Westfalenstadion this summer.
Aubameyang was heavily linked with a move to PSG before a deal fell through, reportedly as a result of Dortmund’s excessive price tag for the 28-year-old.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked with a move to sign the striker in the past.
Arsene Wenger is thought to be on the lookout to sign a striker, although AS Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe and Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette are reportedly their primary targets.
Former Mexican midfielder Moreno believes Arsenal would do well to sign Aubameyang – who has been linked with the Gunners – adding that the striker would be a quality addition to their squad.
“If this guy is capable of leading the charts in Bundesliga, he would be an asset to you,” Moreno told ESPN FC.
“I think Arsenal are in a position where they need assets.
“He would be an important player to them.”
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League last season, ending up a point adrift of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The Gunners will compete in the Europa League next term after missing out on a top-four finish.
