Arsene Wenger replies when asked if Mesut Ozil will be at Arsenal after January
The Arsenal manager opens up about Mesut Ozil's future at the north London club beyond the January transfer windiw

Arsene Wenger believes Mesut Ozil will stay at Arsenal beyond the January transfer window.
The Germany international’s future has been a source of incessant speculation with the transfer window set to open in 12 days.
Ozil has little over six months left on his current Arsenal deal and the Gunners don’t appear to be any closer to agreeing a contract extension.
The north London side could be forced to sell Ozil in the January transfer window to avoid losing the World Cup winner on a free transfer at the end of the 2017-18 season.
While Alexis Sanchez has struggled to maintain his high levels with his future in doubt, Ozil has been in scintillating form over the past month or so to put himself in the shop window.
The German midfielder scored a brilliant volley to help Arsenal secure a 1-0 win against Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United side at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.
Ozil has netted three goals and has made five assists in 10 games in all competitions.
Asked whether Ozil will remain at Arsenal beyond the January transfer window, Wenger told his post-match media conference following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Newcastle:
“I’m confident, yes, but what does that mean? I don’t know.”
Ozil moved to Arsenal from Real Madrid in the 2013 summer transfer window.
