Unai Emery hope Arsenal can keep 27-year-old despite Chelsea FC interest – report
The Arsenal manager is optimistic that Aaron Ramsey will remain at the north London side despite Chelsea FC interest, according to a report

Unai Emery is optimistic that Aaron Ramsey will remain at Arsenal despite interest from Chelsea FC, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Emery is confident Ramey will be an Arsenal player next season despite Chelsea FC keeping tabs on the Wales international.
The same article states that FA Cup winners Chelsea FC are considering a £30m bid to sign the Arsenal midfielder in the current transfer window to improve their midfield option.
According to the same story, the Blues believe a £30m bid would be sufficient to convince Arsenal to sell given Ramsey has less than 12 months to run on his current deal.
The north London side finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a spot in the Champions League for the second successive campaign.
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 top flight season when the Gunners finished the season unbeaten under Emery’s predecessor Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners have regressed under Wenger over the past few seasons to miss out on a Champions League spot in consecutive seasons after fifth and sixth place finishes.
