Aaron Ramsey gives Arsenal transfer update over new contract
The Arsenal star confirms that his agent is in talks with the Gunners over a new contract

Aaron Ramsey has revealed that his agent is still in talks with Arsenal over a new contract.
The Wales international has less than 12 months to run on his current deal with the north London side.
Arsenal risk losing Ramsey for nothing next summer unless the Gunners can tie down the Welsh star to a new contract.
Spanish head coach Unai Emery has taken over the reins from Arsene Wenger to usher in a new era at the north London side.
The new Arsenal boss has wasted no time leaving his mark on the Gunners with five new signings in the summer transfer window.
The former Paris Saint-Germain and Sevilla boss has spoken of his desire to keep Ramsey at the north London club in the long term.
And Ramsey, who has won three FA Cup crowns since his move to Arsenal from Cardiff City in 2008, has shed light on negotiations with the Gunners over a new deal.
“Talks are still ongoing, I’ve got nothing else to say about that,” Ramsey is quoted as saying.
“We’ll see what happens, my agent and the club are talking.”
Arsenal have snapped up Juventus and Switzerland veteran Stephan Lichtsteiner in a free transfer to improve their defence.
The Gunners have also signed Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno in a £20m deal from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal have also brought in Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Lorient teenager Matteo Guendouzi.
