Arsenal are interested in signing young goalkeeper Alban Lafont from Toulouse this summer, according to reports in France.
French outlet Le10Sport is reporting that the Gunners have made an initial enquiry about the possibility of signing the 18-year-old shot-stopper.
Arsenal are believed to be on the lookout for a long-term replacement for veteran shot-stopper Petr Cech and Lafont has emerged as a potential target for the Gunners.
The same report claims that Arsenal are also keen to bring in a new goalkeeper because of the likely departure of David Ospina this summer.
The story also suggests that Arsenal have been keeping tabs on 30-year-old Saint-Etienne shot-stopper Stephane Ruffier as another potential target.
Arsenal confirmed their second signing of the summer on Wednesday when they finally wrapped up a deal to land striker Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in a club-record transfer deal.
The north London side will be hoping to challenge for the Premier League title next season after the Gunners fell short and ended up fifth in the table last season.
