Robert Pires urges Arsenal to sign 22-year-old from Man United
The Arsenal legend believes Anthony Martial would be a good addition to the Gunners team

Robert Pires has urged Arsenal to consider a swoop to sign Manchester United striker Anthony Martial in the summer transfer window.
The France international has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in the current campaign given Jose Mourinho’s lack of faith in the 22-year-old.
Martial has been linked with a potential exit at the end of the 2017-18 season given his lack of opportunities under the Portuguese head coach.
Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur have all been touted as potential destinations for Martial, while Arsenal have also been linked with a swoop for the forward.
The French forward has netted nine goals and has made five assists in 22 starts and five substitute appearances this season.
Former Arsenal playmaker Pires admitted that he would love to see Martial in a Gunners shirt next term.
“I’m a big fan of Anthony Martial,” Pires told bwin.
“He’s very fast, he has excellent dribbling skills and he has the potential to score a lot of goals, but I think he has to play more football.
“I don’t know why he isn’t playing more for Manchester United and [Jose] Mourinho needs to show more confidence in him. I would welcome him at Arsenal!”
Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 when the Gunners finished the season unbeaten.
The Gunners haven’t won the Champions League title under Wenger following a 2-1 loss to FC Barcelona in Paris in 2006.
The north London side lost 2-1 to Atletico Madrid over two legs in the Europa League semi-finals.
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term.
