Arsenal make £44m bid to sign quality 28-year-old attacker – report
Arsenal have made a £44m bid to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, say reports

Arsenal have made a £44m bid to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports in Germany.
German outlet Kicker is reporting that the Gunners have tabled an official offer to try and sign Aubameyang from the German side as they bid to try and strengthen their attacking options this month.
However, the same report says that Arsenal will have to raise their offer to around £53m if they want to convince the German club to sell the Gabon international this month.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move to sign Aubameyang in recent days, despite Arsene Wenger’s denial that the Gunners have made an official bid.
The 28-year-old attacker is widely regarded as one of the best attacking players in Europe and his potential arrival at The Emirates is sure to excite Arsenal fans.
The forward has scored 13 goals and made three assists in 15 Bundesliga games for Borussia Dortmund so far this season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently preparing for the second leg of their League Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea at The Emirates on Wednesday night.
The two London sides drew 0-0 in the first leg of the tie at Stamford Bridge earlier in the month.
