Arsenal are eager to sign Reading’s impressive striker Danny Loader, according to a report in England.
Website Goal is reporting that the Gunners are heading interested in the 18-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Arsenal could face competition from their domestic rivals Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Wolves, Southampton and Leicester City.
According to the same story, the Reading starlet is even attracting interest from Serie A champions Juventus, Ligue 1 duo Lille and Rennes.
Goal go on to state that Loader will be available on a free transfer next summer when his contract expires unless Reading can tie down the England Under-21 international to a new contract.
The report adds that the Reading teenager is planning to keep his options open and the young striker isn’t fazed by the prospect of moving abroad.
Arsenal are thought to have a tight summer transfer budget to leave the Gunners searching for some bargain deals in the upcoming transfer window.
The Gunners will prove to be a more attractive destination for would-be signings if Arsenal can beat Chelsea FC in the Europa League final to secure a place in next season’s Champions League.
Arsenal haven’t qualified for the Champions League in the past three seasons by virtue of their league position.
