Ian Wright tells Arsenal to cut their losses and sell 29-year-old attacker
The Arsenal legend wants the Gunners to cash in on Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window

Ian Wright has urged Arsenal to cut their losses and sell Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window.
The Chile international has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League leaders Manchester City over the past 12 months.
Sanchez has little over seven months remaining on his current contract after the Citizens failed to land the South American.
The 29-year-old striker scored 24 goals in 38 games in the Premier League last term despite rumours around his future.
However, Sanchez has only managed to score five times and made four assists in 17 outings in the English top flight.
The South American could leave in the January if Arsenal want to secure some transfer funds, or Sanchez could leave for nothing at the end of the 2017-18 season.
Former Arsenal striker Wright has told the Gunners sell Sanchez next month and at least recoup some of the Chilean’s £35m transfer fee.
“I’d take the hit on Sanchez now. He looks as if his heart isn’t in it anymore,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“They should get him out in January. He doesn’t look interested.”
Sanchez has won two FA Cup titles in three seasons at the north London club.
The Gunners haven’t got any closer to winning the Premier League title despite Sanchez’s appointment.
